Premalu-fame Shyam Mohan has completed dubbing for Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran. The actor took to his official X account to share a photo with the film's director, Rajkumar Periyasamy, along with the caption, "Dubbing done for Amaran! Thank you, Rajkumar, sir! #Amaran #Sk21 #sivakarthikeyan" (sic)

Amaran, based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, is being bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International along with Sony Pictures International Productions.

Amaran's story about the late army officer is inspired by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's book, India's Most Fearless. The film will feature Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. He was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his act of bravery during a counterterrorism operation while on deputation to the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir.

The film also stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead. GV Prakash is the music composer for the film, which will feature cinematography by CH Sai, editing by Kalaivanan, and stunt direction by Stefan Richter.

Amaran is all set to hit theatres for Diwali on October 31.
