Earlier, we reported that the fourth film from the Aranmanai franchise, Aranmanai 4 will hit theatres in April. On Sunday, on the occasion of Tamil New Year, the makers unveiled a new poster and announced that the film will be released on April 26. Helmed by and starring Sundar C, Aranmanai 4 also has Tamannaah, and Raashi Khanna in lead roles.

The supporting cast of Aranmanai 4 also features, Santhosh Prathap, Kovai Sarala, VTV Ganesh, Rajaendran, Singapuli and Yogi Babu. Talking about the plotline, Sundar C previously shared at the film's trailer launch event that he heard of an Assamese folklore about Baak, a water demon, which, according to legends, was one of the many reasons why even flourishing empires couldn't spread beyond Brahmaputra River.

Aranmanai 4 is backed by Benz Media Pvt Ltd and Avni Cinemax (P) Ltd. The technical crew of the film includes Hiphop Tamizha scoring the music with Esakki Krishnasamy as cinematographer. Fenny Oliver S is the editor.

Aranmanai 4 will be released along with Vishal's 34th film Rathnam, directed by Hari.
