Atharvaa played an important role in director Sudha Kongara's Parasakthi, alongside Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, and Sreeleela. In a recent interview, the actor said that he found his character in the film easier to play as compared to all the other roles in his career so far.

Speaking to Galatta, he said, "I recently did a film with Sudha ma'am, called Parasakthi. I know her for a long time now. I think it is one of the easiest characters to pull of in my career because it was so mean."

The actor shared that he only had to get into the look of his character and "go stand there" on set to play the character. "Of course, I would read all my dialogues, but it came easily to me to pull off that body language," the actor said about his role in the film.

Atharvaa further revealed that he realised after Parasakthi that he has been doing characters within his "comfort zone" for a while and that it was time for him to change genres. "Today, I am in that zone. But my next few films are also going to be a little intense and entertaining. Now, I did Idhayam Murali, but my next film should not be like it," the actor added.

The actor's comments are getting a lot of attention online amidst news reports about Sudha Kongara's legal action at the Madras High Court against the makers of his next film, Idhayam Murali. A report from Bar and Bench reveals that the filmmaker has moved HC claiming that Idhayam Murali's producer, Aakash Baskaran, owes 8.39 crore to her in unpaid remuneration for her work in Parasakthi. She has sought interim relief from HC, claiming that the producer has not paid her a large amount as remuneration even though she has raised invoices for the same. She is also seeking a temporary ban on Idhayam Murali's release.
