With Vikram Prabhu's Raid gearing up for release for Diwali this year, the makers have begun promotional activities for the film. The second single from Raid, titled 'Azhagu Chellam' is all set to drop on October 24, the makers announced on Sunday. 

Raid is an action thriller, directed by debutant Karthi. It is a remake of the superhit Kannada film, Tagaru, which starred Shivarajkumar and Dhananjaya.  The film is backed by SK Kanishk and GK Manikannan.

Director Muthaiya has written dialogues for Raid, which also features Sri Divya as the female lead role. Raid marks the second collaboration between Vikram Prabhu and Sri Divya, who were seen together in the 2014 comedy, Vellaikara Durai.

Ananthika, Rishi Rithvik, Soundararaja and others will be seen in pivotal roles. Sam CS is composing music for this film, which features cinematography by Kathiravan, editing by Manimaran and stunts choreographed by K Ganesh.
