The makers of Blue Star announced that the second single from the film, titled Arakkonam Style, is set to drop on November 24. The film has music scored by Govind Vasantha.

Previously, the makers released Railin Oligal featuring Ashok Selvan and Keerthi Pandian, on the occasion of their wedding day. Sung by Pradeep Kumar and Shakthisree Gopalan the song had lyrics by Uma Devi. 

Blue Star features Ashok Selvan and Shantanu Bhagyaraj in the lead roles. The sports-based drama centres around cricket and is written and helmed by S Jayakumar.

The film is backed by Pa Ranjith under his banner Neelam Productions. Besides Ashok Selvan and Keerthi, the film also stars Prithvi, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, and others.

The technical crew consists of Govind Vasantha scoring the music and Thamizh A Azhagan handling the cinematography. Selva RK is the editor.
