The makers of the upcoming Tamil film Maruthi Nagar Police Station released the trailer of the film on Wednesday. Written and directed by Dayal Padmanabhan, the film stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead role. The film will premiere on Aha Tamil on May 19. 

The trailer shows that the film will be a crime thriller set in a police station. It seems Varalaxmi Sarathkumar leads the team of cops who are in an attempt to unveil a series of crimes set around her own police station.

Dhayal Padmanaban had previously collaborated with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the recently released film Kondraal Paavam. Actor Santhosh Prathap who played a prominent character in the film, also essays a significant role in the upcoming film. 

Maruthi Nagar Police Station also stars Arav, Mahat Raghavendra, Yasar, Vivek Rajagopal, Amit Bharghav, Subramanya Siva, Yash Shetty, Ravi Venkatraman, Shruthi Nayak, Joe Simon, Balaji, and Chandra chud

Produced by Dayal Padmanabhan under the D Pictures banner, the technical crew of Maruthi Nagar Police Station consists of r Shekhar Chandra as the cinematographer and Preethi- Babu as the editor. The film has music composed by Manikanth Kadri.
