On Monday, the makers of director Arivazhagan's Sabdham announced that the third schedule of the film, which took place in Mumbai, was wrapped. Starring Aadhi Pinnisetty and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles, the film is billed as a horror thriller.

Arivazhagan and Aadhi earlier worked in the critically acclaimed 2009 horror film Eeram. Backed by 7G Films with Aalpha Frames, a home banner of Arivazhagan, the upcoming film will mark his debut production venture. The film is expected to release in Tamil and Telugu. The film also stars Redin Kingsley, Laila and Simran. 

The technical crew of Sabdham consists of S Thaman scoring the music, Arun Bathmanaban handling the cinematography, and VJ Sabu handling the editing. Arivazhagan has already worked with Thaman on his previous films including Eeram, Vallinam and Aarathu Sinam.

The film is expected to release sometime in June or July 2023.
