On Monday, makers released the title and first-look poster of Aadukalam-fame Kishore's next film. Titled Mugai, the film is helmed by Ajith Kumar J. The film also stars Aarsha Chandini Baiju as the female lead. 

In an earlier conversation with CE, actor Aarsha mentioned that she got the opportunity to feature in Mugai after the makers watched her performance in Average Ambili. This film marks her debut in Tamil.  

Mugai is produced by Light House Media in association with Sri Dharma Productions, Jasper Studios and Visthaara. Kishore Kumar is also co-producing the film apart from starring. With music composition by Sakthi, Mugai has cinematography by Arjun Accot and editing by Santhosh T. 

The makers are yet to disclose the film's plot details. The trailer of Mugai will be unveiled on June 6. 

Meanwhile, Kishore Kumar was recently seen in Modern Love Chennai, in which he starred in the segment helmed by Bharathiraja. He was also seen as one of the antagonists in Ponniyin Selvan 2. He is currently awaiting the release of Jailer, the shooting for which was recently wrapped. 

Aarsha Chandini Baiju, on the other hand, was last seen in a lead role in Mukundan Unni Associates. Her upcoming films Madhura Manohara Moham, Qurbaani and NP 42 are in various stages of production.
