The makers of Bakasuran have released the character poster of Natty as Arul Varman, on social media on Saturday. The film is set to hit the theatres on February 17.

Helmed by Mohan G, the film also stars Selvaraghavan in the lead. From the trailer of Bakasuran, which was released a few months ago, it is expected that the film will deal with the topical issue of women being lured and cheated into sending personal videos of themselves.

Mohan has directed films like Draupadi and Rudhrathandavam, which drew criticism for the themes it handled and portrayal. Bakasuran also stars Radharavi, Rajan K, Rams, Saravanan Subbiah, D Gunanithi, Tharakshi, Mansoor Ali Khan, Devadharshini, and PL Thennappan. With music by Sam CS, the film is produced by GM Film Corporation.

It is to be noted that Bakasuran will be clashing with the Dhanush-starrer Vaathi/Sir, on February 17.
