V Gowthaman's Maaveera first look and motion poster out

The first look and motion poster of director V Gowthaman's ambitious project Maaveera were revealed today. The poster shows a raging Gowthaman standing infront of an Ayyanar idol, with a blood-stained sickle and spear in each of his hands. 

Director V Gowthaman, previously made Kanave Kalaiyadhe (1998) starring Murali and Simran, and Magizhchi (2010), starring himself and Anjali in thelad.  Maaveera has music by GV Prakash and lyrics by Vairamuthu. The film produced by V.K Production Group has cinematography by Vetrivel Mahendran. 

In a previously released statement Gowthaman had shared that the film will document many untold history of Tamil people. "My lifetime goal is to tell the world about the history of the heroes who lived in Santhanakadu, Mundhirikadu, and Vannikadu regions, in an uncompromised manner. Maaveera is an epic story of a real hero who protected the land and honour," he said.
