Chennai Floods: Ajith Kumar checks in on Vishnu Vishal and Aamir Khan after being rescued

After being rescued, he thanked the fire and rescue department and said that more than 30 people were taken out of their villa community

Chennai has been devastated by Cyclone Michaung, which sent the city reeling from deluges of rain. For the past two days, the city has come to a standstill. 

Now, actor Vishnu Vishal, who was stranded in Karapakkam, revealed that he has been rescued by the fire and rescue department. He was seen being taken out in a boat by the rescue team along with his wife a nd badminton player Jwala Gutta. Actor Aamir Khan was also seen along with him. Reportedly, he visited the city for his ailing mother's treatment. His mother was under the care of a private medical facility in Chennai.

In his recent post, the Lal Salaam actor disclosed that actor Ajith Kumar checked in on him. Taking to X, he wrote, "After gettting to know our situation through a common friend, the ever helpful Ajith Sir came to check in on us and helped with travel arrangements for our villa community members… Love you Ajith Sir!"

After being rescued, he thanked the fire and rescue department and said that more than 30 people were taken out of their villa community. He also said they gave them some food and urged public to help them as well. In an earlier post, he shared pictures from his community where he was seen being stranded by water on all sides. 

Also sharing an update on the scary situation of the surrounding areas, Vishnu wrote: "Our water is continuously rising from morning... It was below the entrance steps... Then started entering the house and it has slowly taken over the first floors of the entire community…Thats why we got worried... Its not going down…"

On the workfront, Vishnu Vishal will be seen next in Lal Salaam which is all set to release for Pongal 2024. Helmed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Lal Salaam stars Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal in lead roles. Rajinikanth has played an extended cameo as Moideen Bhai in the film, making it his first collaboration with his daughter. The upcoming film is billed to be a sports drama based on cricket.
