The makers of Aha's Rathasaatchi recently released the first look poster of the series, which has Mandela-fame Kanna Ravi in the lead role. Written and directed by Rafiz Ismail, Rathasaatchi also stars Harish Kumar, Elango Kumaravel, Kalyan Master, and Madras Charles in important roles.

The latest update from team Rathasaatchi is that the makers are planning to release Yaanaiyodu Modhum, the first single on Monday. The song, written by Vishnu Edavan and composed by Javed Riaz, will be released by music director Thaman who is on cloud nine after the success of his latest single, Ranjithame, from Vijay-Rashmika Mandanna's Varisu.

With music by Javed Riaz and cinematography by Jagadheesh Ravi, Rathasaatchi is an adaptation of the short story Kathaigal from the novel Venkadal, penned by writer Jeyamohan.

Rathasaatchi is produced by Anitha Mahendran, and an announcement about the release date is awaited.
