‘Anaganaga Oka Kathala’ new single from Sabari out

Academy Award winner Chandrabose unveiled the new single ‘Anaganaga Oka Kathala’ from the upcoming thriller-drama Sabari. Directed by Anil Katz, Sabari stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead role.

‘Anaganaga Oka Kathala’ is a heartwarming composition with a sweet lullaby-like feel to it. The song is composed by Gopi Sundar, and rendered by legendary singer KS Chitra. Rahman has penned the song lyrics. On the occasion, Chandrabose said, "I'm feeling delighted to unveil this song. My wife, Suchitra, choreographed this song, and it makes it more special for me. It beautifully captures the lovely bonding between mother and daughter. I was thoroughly impressed by the situational setting of the song and the overall vibe of it.”

The trailer for Sabari was released on April 12. The film promises to tell the story of a mother (Varalaxmi) who is on a quest to find her missing daughter Riya against all barriers and societal prejudices. Actors like Ganesh Venkatraman, Shashank, Mime Gopi, Sunaina, Rajashri Nair, Bhadram, Phani, Krishna Teja, Prabhu, Archana Ananth, and Keshav Deepak comprise the supporting cast of the film. The cinematography is by Rahul Shrivatsav and Nani Chamidisetty. Dharmendra Karakala is the editor, and Ashish Teja Pulala is the art director.

Produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla under Maha Movies Banner, Sabari is slated to release on May 3 in theaters in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
