Actor-producer T Rajendar has completely recovered following advanced health treatment in the US.

In May, the actor-producer Rajendar developed chest pain and was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. After a complete examination, doctors diagnosed that Rajendar had internal bleeding in the stomach. He was advised to go for advanced treatment. Immediately, actor Silambarasan TR stalled his professional and personal commitments, to provide full support to his father.

Following that, Rajendar was taken to the USA for advanced treatment. Since doctors advised him for a long stretch of rest, the family members have decided to stay back in the USA for a month.

On the work front, T Rajendar was last seen in a guest appearance in the 2017 film, Vizhithiru. 

After Rajendar's complete recovery, Silambarasan returned to Chennai and resumed shooting. Silambarasan, who was last seen in Maanaadu, has a handful of projects, including Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and Pathu Thala.
