Gopinath Rajendran

We had previously reported that writer Antony Bhagyaraj is turning director with a film that stars Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh in the lead. It's now known that the film is titled, Siren. The film's title was announced on Monday when production commenced.

Speaking about Siren, Antony says, "The film is an action-packed emotional drama. We have seen Ravi sir do both of them separately in various films but here, it will be different in terms of characterisation. The character of Keerthy ma'am too is unique and there are a lot of combination shots between the lead actors. There's a reason why we have named the film Siren and I cannot reveal the reason at this point in time."

The first schedule of the film will be completed in Chennai in 15 days before moving to other cities. Siren also stars Samuthirakani and Yogi Babu. Produced by Sujatha Vijaykumar of Home Movie Makers, the film's music is by GV Prakash. With Selvakumar SK of Maanagaram fame handling the cinematography, Ruben is in charge of editing.
