Cobra CBFC rating and runtime details out

As Vikram's action entertainer, Cobra, gears up for release, the makers have revealed the CBFC rating and the runtime details of the film.

The Ajay Gnanamuthu directorial has received a U/A rating from the censor board. Interestingly, the film is 3 hours, 3 minutes and 3 second long, it has been announced by the production house, Seven Screen Studio in a video byte shared across social media platforms.

Cobra marks Vikram's return to the big screen after the 2019 release, Kadaram Kondan, with his last release, Karthik Subbaraj's Mahaan, opting for a direct-to-digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video earlier this February. In addition to Vikram, Cobra also stars Roshan Mathew, Srinidhi Shetty and cricketer Irfan Pathan in lead roles. The film has music by AR Rahman.

Cobra is set to release in theatres on August 31, closing with Nathathiram Nagargirathu, directed by Pa Ranjith, who is directing Vikram's next film, which is currently in production.
