Vikram, Pa Ranjith to join hands for a film?

CE Features

Speculations are rife that actor Vikram will be teaming up with filmmaker Pa Ranjith for a forthcoming film.

According to reports, Pa Ranjith has narrated a script to Vikram prior to the release of Kabali, with Studio Green set to bankroll. The project, however, did not go on floors due to the filmmaker's other commitments, but now it looks like the duo will be now finally working together.

If the project materialises, it is expected to enter production in 2022 after Pa Ranjith finishes his current film, Natchathiram Nagargirathu. An official confirmation is awaited on the same though. Interestingly, Pa Ranjith is producing Vikram's son, Dhruv's next with Mari Selvaraj, through his production house, Neelam Productions.

On the other hand, Vikram has recently finished shooting for Mahaan, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, and Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. He also has Cobra, directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, and the long-delayed Dhruva Natchathiram.
