GV Prakash to collaborate with debutant director for Rebel 

GV Prakash's next titled Rebel will be directed by Nikesh RS, a debutant and produced jointly by Studio Green and Thirukumaran Entertainment.

GV Prakash, who is gearing up for Bachelor's release this Friday will next collaborate with a debutant director. Producer CV Kumar announced the news on Twitter and also revealed the title of the film as Rebel. The project is to be helmed by Nikesh RS, who has previous worked as an associate director on  Kazhugu, 1945, and Bellbottom.

The project began today (December 2) with an official pooja and Pa Ranjith kickstarted the film with the first clap. The project is jointly produced by Gnanavelraja's Studio Green and CV Kumar's Thirukumaran Entertainment. GV Prakash will also compose music for the film. 

The technical crew of the film was also announced. It includes cinematography by Arunkrishna Radhakrishnan and editing by Leo John Paul. 

In addition to this, GV Prakash has an impressive lineup of films in store. He looks forward to the release of Jail, directed by Vasantha Balan a week after Bachelor. His most recent film was a direct-to-OTT release titled Vanakkam Da Mappilei. GV Prakash is also working on a project titled Selfie, in which he will face off Gautham Vasudev Menon. The film is directed by debutant filmmaker Mathi Maran, and the film's trailer will be launched today.
