Neena Gupta to release her autobiography Sach Kahun Toh

Published by Penguin India, the book will be out next month

Neena Gupta, who finishes four decades in the Indian film industry soon, has penned her autobiography. The book, titled Sach Kahun Toh, will be launched next month. Neena made the announcement in a video on social media and also shared a pre-order link.

Neena Gupta made her acting debut in a supporting turn in Saath Saath (1982). She appeared in several parallel and middle cinema movies through the 80s and early 90s. She was a part of International films like Gandhi and a bunch of Merchant Ivory productions. In 1994, she won a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Woh Chokri. She also featured in and directed several television shows.

In 2018, after a phase of struggling to get substantial roles, Neena shot back to glory with Amit Sharma’s Badhaai Ho. She’s enjoying a wondrous second-run in Bollywood, with films like The Last Color, Shubh Mangal Zyaada SaavdhanPanga and the Netflix show Masaba Masaba. She was recently seen in Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and this week’s Sardar Ka Grandson.
