Yuvan Shankar Raja has teamed up with AR Rahman’s son AR Ameen for a song titled Tala Al Badru Alayna. Composed by Yuvan, who has also sung the song with Ameen, the lyrical video of the track has been unveiled today, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr. The Tamil song has lyrics by Zafroon Nizar.

Expressing happiness about his first collaboration with Ameen, Yuvan said, "I felt happy working with my brother AR Ameen for the first time, that too for a blessed song like Tala Al Badru Alayna. It’s a happy moment to have this song unveiled on this beautiful occasion of Eid."

Talking about lending a supporting hand in times of distress, Yuvan added, "This is a festival of sharing. Therefore, the income generated through this song will be contributed to the poor and needy."

An elated Ameen, who last lent his vocals to Pullinangal from 2.0, expressed his joy on working with Yuvan on the 'divine track'.

On the film front, Yuvan has recently composed the background score of Karthi-starrer Sulthan. He also has multiple projects in the pipeline, including Valimai, Manaadu, Eriyum Kannadi, and Naane Varuven, among others.
