Actor Mj Rodriguez (Pose) has been roped in to star opposite Maya Rudolph in a yet-untitled comedy series for Apple.

Hailing from Alan Yang and Matt Hubbar, the series follows Molly (Rudolph), a woman whose seemingly perfect life is upended after her husband leaves her with nothing but 87 billion dollars.

Deadline reports that Rodriguez is all set to play Sofia, the hard-working executive director of the non-profit funded by her absentee billionaire boss, Molly.

Rudolph, Yang and Hubbar will also serve as executive producers for the project backed by Universal Television.

Rodriguez is best known for her role in Emmy-winning FX drama series Pose. Her other TV credits include Nurse Jackie and Luke Cage. She has also starred in films such as Adam and Saturday Church.

Rudolph, a well-regarded comedy actor, recently made her return to SNL to play Unites States Vice President Kamala Harris. She is also known for her roles on shows like The Good Place and films like Away We Go and Bridesmaids.
