The trailer of Karthi's Sulthan will be launched on March 24 at 5 pm. The film, directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan of Remo fame, has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead. 

The announcement was made through production house Dream Warrior Picture's Twitter handle. 

The trailer announcement poster features an axe-wielding Karthi taking on goons in the middle of a riot.

The action drama, co-starring Nepoleon, Yogi Babu and KGF-fame Ramachandra Raju, has music by Vivek-Mervin and cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan.

Sulthan is scheduled to hit the screens in April.

Apart from this film, Karthi is working on Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. He also has a film with Mithran, in which he is touted to be playing a dual role.
