The eagerly-awaited Karnan teaser will be released on March 23. The announcement was made through Dhanush's official Twitter handle along with a poster of the actor sitting handcuffed and holding a sword, surrounded by people in masks. 

Directed by Mari Selvaraj, Karnan also stars Rajisha Vijayan, Lal, Gouri G Kishan, Yogi Babu, and others.

The film, produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations, is scheduled for theatrical release on April 9.

The team of Karnan has been sharing singles from the album as a part of the film's promotions. The first three tracks have received unanimous positive response from the audience. 

Karnan has music by Santhosh Narayanan and cinematography by Theni Eswar. 

Apart from this film, Dhanush has Karthik Subbaraj's Jagame Thandhiram waiting for release. The film will premiere directly on the OTT platform Netflix.
