CE Features

The news about Atlee doing a film with Shah Rukh Khan has been doing rounds for several years now. The latest speculations state that Nayanthara has been approached to play the female lead in the film.

Reports also state that the actor is happy with the narration and will sign the dotted lines soon. If the news is true, the film would mark Nayanthara's debut in Bollywood. Despite acting in films for almost two decades and being a part of all South Indian language films, the actor hadn't worked on any Hindi projects so far.

It may be noted that the actor has previously worked with Atlee in films like Raja Rani and Bigil.  She currently has Netrikann, Annaatthe and Kathuvakula Rendu Kadhal in the pipeline.

Shah Rukh Khan on the other end was shooting for Siddharth Anand's Pathan before the lockdown.

An official announcement about the Atlee-Shah Rukh Khan project is expected soon, along with the complete set of cast and crew members.
