Nithiin's action thriller film, Check, is set to hit the screens on February 19. Bankrolled by Bhavya Creations, the Chandrasekhar Yeleti directorial, which was supposed to be out last summer, was delayed due to the pandemic.

"Check is an edge-of-the-seat thriller set against the backdrop of a jail. The film revolves around the story of a prisoner who is serving capital punishment. How he handles a tricky situation and accomplishes his mission through a game of chess forms the crux of the film. Every character in the film is unique and contributes to the plot. The film will be released in theatres on February 19," says Ananda Prasad, the producer of Check.

Also starring Rakul Preet Singh as a criminal lawyer, Check marks the debut of Priya Prakash Varrier in Telugu cinema.
