Varun Tej, Kiran Korrapati's film titled Ghani

The first look motion poster of the boxing drama was released by actor Ram Charan on the occasion of Varun Tej's 31st birthday

Varun Tej's upcoming boxing drama, also referred to as VT 10, has been titled Ghani, one of the names of his uncle and actor Pawan Kalyan in Balu (2005). The first look motion poster of Ghani showcasing Varun training with a punching bag in a boxing ring was released by actor Ram Charan today.

Directed by Kiran Korrapati, the intense boxing drama marks the debut of Saiee Manjrekar in Tollywood.

Varun, reportedly, went to the US and learnt the basics of kickboxing under the supervision of 2008 Summer Olympics bronze medalist Tony Jeffries. Varun has also roped in Neeraj Goyat, the WBC Asia Honorary Boxer of the year 2017 as his trainer, while Hollywood stuntman Larnell Stovall will choreograph the action sequences for Ghani

Produced by Siddhu Mudda and Allu Venkatesh (Bobby), Ghani has music by SS Thaman. The film will have a worldwide theatrical release in July.
