Director Gopichand Malineni lodged a complaint with the Telugu Film Directors' Association against Tagore Madhu, the producer of his latest release Krack, over non-payment of pending remuneration.

Seeking the intervention of the association, in his complaint, Malineni alleged that Madhu did not honour the agreement and is refusing to clear the pending dues amounting to Rs 30 lakh.

Meanwhile, the film, which opened in cinemas on January 9, has been under the limelight as it faced release hiccups after a few financiers took a legal route demanding that the dues owed to them by Tagore Madhu be cleared. Consequently, the premiere shows in the overseas market and the noon, matinee and first shows of the film were all cancelled. The film was finally released from the second show and went on to become the biggest hit in the career of Gopichand Malineni.

Starring Ravi Teja as an upright cop, Krack has Shruti Haasan as the leading lady. Samuthirakani and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are also seen in crucial roles.
