Aditi Rao Haydari, who was supposed to play one of the female leads in Vijay Sethupathi’s Tughlaq Darbar, has opted out of the film due to date issues. The Kaatru Veliyidai actor has been replaced by Raashi Khanna, who has already shot for the project for three days in Chennai.

Directed by Delhi Prasad Deenadayal, Tughlaq Darbar has Parthiban and Manjima Mohan in important roles. The film has music by Govind Vasantha and is produced by Seven Screen Studio. Touted to be a fantasy comedy, it has dialogues by Seethakathi director Balaji Tharaneetharan.

Incidentally, Raashi’s last release in Tamil was also a Vijay Sethupathi-starrer — Sangatamizhan. Currently, she also has Sundar C’s Aranmanai 3, alongside Andrea and Arya, and Pa Vijay’s Medhavi, with Jiiva and Arjun, in the pipeline.
