Director Guy Ritchie’s latest film, The Gentlemen, is now being developed into a TV series by Miramax TV. The enjoyable, quintessential Ritchie entertainer on the lines of his successful previous films like Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was released in January 2020.

The film starred Matthew McConaughey, Henry Golding, Charlie Hunnam, Hugh Grant, Jeremy Strong and Michelle Dockery. The series is written and directed by Ritchie. Executive producers of the series include Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies.

It is interesting that the film, which started as a series, returns to its original idea.

The Gentlemen chronicles drug lord Mickey Pearson’s attempts to sell his business and the schemes of his rivals to conquer his empire.

The film was produced by Miramax and distributed by STXfilms and Entertainment Film Distributors.
