Vijay Antony turns writer for Pichaikkaran sequel

Music director-turned-actor Vijay Antony, whose last release was 2019's successful Kolaigaran, will be turning writer for the sequel of his 2016 hit, Pichaikkaran.

In a recent interview, the actor confirmed that he has been working on the script for four months now. He also revealed that the film will not be directed by Sasi, who directed the original film. The director is busy with an untitled film with Harish Kalyan.

Vijay Antony stated that the sequel will be made with better production value. The cast and crew details will be out soon, he said, also hinting that he might be composing the music for the film.

Meanwhile, the actor has ThamezharasanAgni SiragugalKhaki, a film with director Ananda Krishnan, and another film with Vijay Milton.
