The first look of Nandamuri Balakrishna from his upcoming actioner, NBK 106, has been released by the makers on the eve of his 60th birthday. The actor's dhoti-clad, moustache-twirling look from the Boyapati Sreenu directorial has become a hit among his fans, who had been eagerly waiting to see their favourite actor in a powerful avatar.

In the film, Balakrishna will be seen in two roles — that of a powerful Rayalseema politician and an aghora. The actor has gone for a makeover and reportedly lost a few kilos to get into the skin of the character.

Produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy, the shooting of NBK 106 will resume shortly. The film has actors Shriya Saran and Anjali as the female leads. The music of NBK 106 is by SS Thaman.

NBK 106 marks Balakrishna's third collaboration with Boyapati after Simha and Legend.
