Puri Akash will next be seen in a rugged avatar in his upcoming film, Romantic, which has been locked for release on May 29. Akash's father and the film's producer, Puri Jagannadh took to Twitter to announce the release date of the movie along with a new poster. In the poster, Akash and Ketika Sharma are seen kissing while standing on a bus.

Directed by Anil Paduri, Romantic revolves around a slum-dweller who falls in love with a rich girl. Akash has reportedly undergone a major physical transformation and got all beefed up for the film. 

Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur, Romantic also features Ramakrishnan, Makarand Deshpande, and Uttej in supporting roles.
