Kajal Aggarwal, who had taken a break from work for her wedding, has resumed shooting for Chiranjeevi's Acharya. The actor and her husband Gautam Kichlu, who had accompanied her to the spot, were welcomed with garlands by the team.

The shooting of the portions involving Chiranjeevi was resumed in November after it was confirmed that the actor wasn't affected by the coronavirus.

Also starring Ram Charan in an important supporting role, Acharya is produced by Konidela Productions in association with Matinee Entertainment. The film has music composed by Mani Sharma and cinematography by Tirru. 

Apart from this film, Kajal has Mosagallu in Telugu, the Hindi film Mumbai Saga, as well as Hey Sinamika, Indian 2, Ghosty, an untitled film with Deekay, and the long-delayed Paris Paris in Tamil.
