Vignesh Shivan took to Twitter to announce that his production house Rowdy Pictures has acquired Vasantha Ravi's upcoming film, Rocky. 

The film is directed by Vignesh Shivan's long-time friend, Arun Matheshwaran.

Rocky has Vasanth Ravi, who is known for director Ram's Taramani (2017), in the lead role. It also stars veteran filmmaker-actor Bharathiraja in a key role. 

The upcoming film has music by Darbuka Siva, who shot to fame with Gautham Vasudev Menon's Enai Noki Paayum Thota. The makers are yet to announce the release date of Rocky.
