Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor's second consecutive report for coronavirus also tested negative. Following this, she has been discharged from the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) and has been allowed to go home.

Kanika, the first Bollywood celebrity to test positive for COVID-19, was hospitalised on March 20. Her first five consecutive reports showed her as coronavirus positive. The reports on Saturday and Sunday, however, were negative. She has reportedly been advised to self-isolate at home.

In a post on Instagram, which was later deleted, Kanika said she developed signs of flu on her return from London on March 9. The singer was slammed by netizens and three FIRs have been filed against her for interacting with hundreds of people at parties and other events in Lucknow even though she had symptoms of coronavirus.
