Jagapathi Babu is in final talks to play the villain in the period love story, Jaan, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. Directed by Radha Krishna of Jil fame, the film, set in Europe, presents Prabhas as a palm reader and Pooja as a school teacher.

"Radha Krishna gave a three-hour narration to Jagapathi Babu, who got excited with the story. However, he is yet to sign the dotted line and has asked for a week's time to adjust his call sheets to accommodate the film," reveals a source. If everything goes as planned, Jagapathi Babu will start shooting for Jaan in its next schedule in November.

The Legend-actor has recently wrapped up shooting for the Chiranjeevi-starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, and will soon make his Hindi debut with Ajay Devgn's period drama, Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior.
