Nivetha Thomas, in a tweet, revealed the name of Rajinikanth’s character in his upcoming film, Darbar. Superstar plays a character called Aaditya Arunachalam in the AR Murugadoss-directed Darbar, which is slated for released next Pongal. 

We earlier reported that Nivetha Thomas is playing Rajinikanth's daughter in Darbar. The Papanasam-actor confirmed the same in the tweet.

Rajinikanth has wrapped up shooting for the film and has gone for his habitual visit to the Himalayas. The actor will be back soon to start the shooting for his next film with Siva. 

Darbar also stars Nayanthara, Prateik Babbar, Dalip Tahil, and Suniel Shetty. Anirudh Ravichander, who composed music for Petta, has joined hands with Rajinikanth for the second time for Darbar.
