Actor Sharwanand, who is currently shooting for two Telugu films - Sharwa 27, co-starring Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan, and the 96 remake, alongside Samantha - is currently in talks with producer SR Prabhu for a big-budget Tamil - Telugu bilingual, to be directed by a debutant director.

"The project is currently in pre-production. As we thought that Sharawanand will be the perfect choice for this particular project, we have approached him to play the lead. Talks are currently on. An official announcement along with the details about the cast and the crew can be expected soon," says SR Prabhu.

Sharwanand had previously starred in Tamil films like M Saravannan's Engeyum Eppothum, and Cheran's JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai. Producer SR Prabhu, meanwhile, has several projects like Suriya-starrer NGK, Andrea Jeremiah-starrer Vattam, the yet-to-be-titled Jyotika-starrer directed by debutant S Raj, and Karthi-starrer Kaithi, in different stages of production.
