Salman khan's Inshallah to clash with Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi?

CE Features

Salman Khan is reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 12 years in Inshallah. The film stars Alia Bhatt as the female lead. Reportedly, Salman has confirmed that the film — which is being co-produced by Salman Khan Films and Bhansali Productions — will release on EID, 2020, resulting in a clash with Rohit Shetty’s Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi.

Earlier this month, when the release date of Sooryavanshi was revealed with the teaser posters, rumours were rife that Akshay had sought Salman’s permission to avail the Eid slot, which is considered the Dabangg actor's usual release window. The reports were subsequently denied by Akshay at a media interaction.

At present, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Bharat, which is slated to arrive on EID (June 5) this year. He will begin shooting for Dabangg 3 in April followed by Inshallah later this year. As a producer, Salman has Notebook, which marks the debut of newcomers Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal. The film releases on March 29, 2019.
