Nagarjuna, who is gearing up to commence shooting for his ambitious project, Manmadhudu 2 is in contention to host the third season of Bigg Boss Telugu.
"After making futile attempts with Jr NTR and several other actors, the television channel has approached Nagarjuna with a lucrative offer. They have initiated the talks and believe that Nag will be the ideal choice to host the third season. His spontaneity and comic timing will definitely attract the viewers," reveals a source close to the development.
It is learnt that Nagarjuna, who earlier hosted Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu (MEK), a game show based on British programme, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? is yet to give his nod.
The controversial reality show, which is likely to go on air in July, is one of the most popular reality TV shows in the Telugu States. Actors Jr NTR and Nani have hosted the past seasons.
