Nayanthara joins the sets of Thalapathy 63

Nayanthara, who has been signed to play the female lead in the upcoming Vijay-Atlee project, has begun shooting for the film in Chennai. The Kolamavu Kokila actor will be part of a week-long schedule, planned at prime locations in Chennai. The crew had earlier completed a schedule at Binny Mills, Chennai. 

Apart from Vijay and Nayanthara, Thalapathy 63 also stars Yogi Babu, Vivek, Kathir, Daniel Balaji, and Anandraj. This film is Nayanthara’s second collaboration with Atlee after Raja Rani, and will be teaming up with Vijay for the first time since the 2009 film, Villu. Produced by AGS Entertainment, Thalapathy 63, with music by AR Rahman, is slated to hit the screens for Diwali. 

Meanwhile, Nayanthara is currently awaiting the release of Sarjun KM’s Airaa. She also has Mr Local, Love Action Drama (Malayalam), and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (Telugu) in the pipeline.
