We had earlier reported that Ajith’s Pink remake has been titled Nerkonda Paarvai. Now, a source close to the unit says that the court sequences involving Ajith are being canned, and considering their intense nature, the crew has decided to shoot them non-stop without a break, until mid-April.

Nerkonda Paarvai, which went on floors in December last year, stars Vidya Balan, Shraddha Srinath, Adhik Ravichandran, Arjun Chidambaram, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Aswin Rao, and Sujith Shankar. This film will mark Vidya’s debut in Tamil. Directed by H Vinoth, the film will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and cinematography by Nirav Shah.  

While Nerkonda Paarvai was first speculated to get a release on May 1, rumours are rife now that the team might push the release to June or July. This is Boney Kapoor’s first production venture in Tamil, and he will follow this up with another commercial film starring Ajith.
