Director T Maruthi film has been titled Hale Dove Nenapalli and it means that every person in love has a past. "The subject demanded such a title," he says, "I felt that the concept was universal, and it's also a catchy phrase."

The dialogue writer-turned-film maker's debut directorial Vishwamitra is yet to be released, and he has planned to shoot for Hale Dove Nenapalli, starring Nakul as the lead, from August. 

 “The film probes whether religion originated before human beings, and it will also talk about how to overcome disappointments in life,” says Maruthi, who has signed up Tabla Nani to play a pivotal role in the film. 

The film, produced by Giridhar, has cinematography by Niranjan Babu and music by Vineeth Raj Menon. The makers are yet to finalise the female lead and other cast members.
