Chhatrasal team celebrates Maharaja Chhatrasal Jayanti

Maharaja Chhatrasal, the medieval Indian warrior who fought the Mughals, is getting a web show on his life

The makers of Chhatrasal — an upcoming web series touted to be the most expensive historical drama produced for Indian digital platforms — are celebrating Maharaja Chhatrasal Jayanti.

Jitin Gulati plays the titular role of King Chhatrasal while veteran actor Ashutosh Rana plays Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Manish Wadhwa plays the role of Prannath Ji who was the guiding force of King Chhatrasal. Vaibhavi Shandilya plays Devkunvari and Miss India Gujarat 2018 Anusha Luhar portrays the role of Susheela.

Chhatrasal is directed and co-produced by Anadii Chaturvedi.  The creative director on the show is Rachell Ambrose. It is produced by Abhyuday Grover under the banner of Resonance Digital and presented by Manu Kumar Patel, Raman Patel, and Narendra Patel.
