Vijay Sethupathi's next production venture, Chennai Palani Mars, which is all set for worldwide release this Friday (July 26), has gained some international recognition.

The fantasy entertainer, with dialogues by Vijay Sethupathi himself, has won two big international awards - the Best Narrative Platinum award at Pinnacle film awards, and Best Drama Grand Jury Gold award at Los Angeles Film festival.

Chennai Palani Mars is directed by Biju Viswanath, who debuted with Orange Mittai, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Ramesh Thilak. The upcoming film stars newcomers like Praveen Raja, Rajesh Giriprasad, Vasanth Marimuthu, Imtiaz Mohammad, Pari Ilavazhagan, and has music by Niranjan Babu.

It follows the ambitions of a young man who wants to go to Mars, and the series of obstacles he faces in realising his dream.
