Navdeep to play villain in Jiiva's next

Apart from this film, the actor will also be seen playing an important role in Sunny Leone's multi-lingual Veeramadevi

Arinthum Ariyamalum-fame Navdeep, who was last seen in Vijay's Idhu Enna Maayam in Tamil, has been roped in to play the antagonist in Jiiva's upcoming film with Rathina Siva, who previously directed Rekka with Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. 

The film bankrolled by Vels Film International is said to be an action thriller and a new face will be playing the female lead. The shooting of the yet-to-be-titled project began in the first week of December and the story which is based on real-life events is set in Maayavaram. 

The film has cinematography by Pichaikkaran-fame Prasanna Kumar and music by D Imman. 

Apart from this film, Navdeep will also be seen playing an important role in Sunny Leone's multi-lingual Veeramadevi.
