Director Bala's completed version of the Arjun Reddy remake, titled Varmaa, which was scrapped after completion by the production house, E4 Entertainment, might soon get a release on Netflix.

We hear that the makers have decided to release Varmaa in the OTT platform to recover a part of the losses incurred. E4 Entertainment is reportedly ready in talks with Netflix for the same.

In the meantime, the production house shot a new version, Adithya Varma, from scratch with an almost completely new crew, retaining only the lead, Dhruv, and Arjun Reddy-music director, Radhan.

Adithya Varma, which featured October-fame Banita Sandhu as the female lead, actor Priya Anand, and cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, was released recently to an underwhelming response from the audience.
