Director Yogaraj Bhat, who is currently basking in the success of Panchatantra, has begun the pre-production work for his upcoming film, Gaalipata 2

The crew will however have to wait for the monsoons as the director has planned to shoot a few sequences in the rain. The film was initially planned to be shot abroad primarily, but they have now decided to start the shooting in Karnataka itself before moving to foreign locations.

Bhatru is said to be keen on shooting the film in picturesque locations like his previous film, Gaalipata, and the sequel will likely be shot in Georgia.

Meanwhile, the recording session of the second song for the film will resume on May 2.

Produced by Mahesh Danannavar, the multi-starrer features Sharan, Pawan Kumar, Rishi, Sharmiela Mandre and Sonal Monterio. Other actors, including a Chinese or Korean heroine, will be finalised soon.
