Director-actor R Parthiban, who was last seen in Keni, will be helming a biopic on the veteran actor Chandrababu. A source close to the project tells us that the film will have Prabhudeva as the lead and will be a big budget venture. "Parthiban has two films with Prabhudeva, and one of them is the biopic on Chandrababu. The story has been registered after discussions for more than a year," the source says, adding that, while it is unclear which of the two films will go on floors first, one of them is expected to be launched next year.

Apart from these films, Parthiban will also direct a sequel to his 1993 film, Ulle Veliye. The sequel is touted to be a thriller that will have several strong characters. He is also shooting for the Vishal-Raashi Khanna-starrer Ayogya that is being directed by Venkat Mohan.
