Megha Akash on board for Karthik Subbaraj's next?

CE Features

Buzz has it that Megha Akash of ENPT fame, has been roped in for Karthik Subbaraj's film with Rajinikanth. A source close to the actor says the makers have cast her opposite Sananth Reddy, who is said to play an important role in this yet-to-be-titled venture. Unconfirmed sources also say a photoshoot was conducted at the Sun Network office.

However, Megha was unreachable for comment and official confirmation is awaited. The actor is already a part of Atharvaa's Bommerang, and also has Oru Pakka Kadhai lined up for release.

While Vijay Sethupathi has already bagged the villain's role, the names of Simran, Bobby Simha and Yogi Babu are doing the rounds for the supporting cast.

Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the music for the film, marking his first collaboration with both Karthik Subbaraj and Rajinikanth.

If everything goes to plan, the makers are expected to start shooting in Uttarkhand later this month.
